The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage (which includes Anatomy & Physiology) is to enable candidates to gain the practical and theoretical skills in order to provide massage treatments for the purposes of relaxation and stress release.

Unit 380 Provide Body Massage for Complementary Therapies

Unit 383 Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies

Unit 384 Principles and Practice of Complementary Therapies

Unit 385 Business Practice for Complementary Therapies

Course Structure:

This course runs over 14 x 2.5 hr twice weekly classroom lessons from 7.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m, with structured homework requiring at least 15 hrs per week, consisting of assignments, case studies and formal study for classwork. (On-line resources are available to support lessons and assignments)


This 3-4 month course has a practical examination and a written multi-choice theory examination
